Go to thevisibleathlete.com/pricing. The Founding Member plan is $50 a month for as long as the membership stays active. A parent or guardian completes checkout, and the athlete gets the login right after. Tap Sign Up.
Visible Athlete is for athletes 13 and older, so the next screen asks for the athlete's date of birth. It is checked on that page and not stored. Enter it and tap CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT.
Checkout runs on Stripe. Contact details are the parent's: the parent's email and full name. Below that come the athlete's first name, last name and email. The athlete's email is the one that will log in, so use an address the athlete actually checks. Pick a payment method, check the box to agree to the terms, and tap Subscribe. The receipt goes to the parent's email. The activation email goes to the athlete's.
Right after checkout, an email from Visible Athlete (info@thevisibleathlete.com) lands in the athlete's inbox asking you to activate the account. Tap the orange ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT button. Not there? Check spam and promotions, and check that the athlete's email address, not the parent's, was entered at checkout. The parent gets a separate receipt.
The button opens the Claim Your Spot screen with the athlete's email already filled in. Choose a password of 8 characters or more, type it twice, and tap ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT. If the screen says the link was already used or expired, go to thevisibleathlete.com/forgot-password, enter the same email, and a fresh link arrives in a minute.
Go to thevisibleathlete.com/login. Use the athlete's email address, the same one the activation email came to, and the password you just set. The parent's email does not log in, even though the parent gets the weekly report. That mix-up is the usual reason a login fails.
Your first screen after login is Connect Your X Account. Tap CONNECT MY X ACCOUNT, log in to X if it asks, and approve. This is read-only access: Visible Athlete reads who follows the athlete and never posts. On a phone this step sometimes spins and never finishes. If that happens, open thevisibleathlete.com on a computer, log in, and connect there. It usually takes less than a minute.
Next is Your Profile: position, team level, graduation year, high school, and the basics coaches look for. Fill in what you know and tap the button at the bottom. Your Game Plan and your weekly tasks are built from this, and you can come back and update it any time.
You are in. My Playbook is the home screen: this week's tasks on the left, the Field Report in the middle, and your VA GPA on the right. Start with the tasks. The top menu takes you to My Board (the coaches who are watching), Strategy Academy, My Game Plan, My Trail and My Team.
