Welcome to Visible Athlete. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Visible Athlete website, platform, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Visible Athlete is a recruiting visibility platform for high school athletes. We provide tools, training, and guidance that help athletes present themselves to college coaches, including profile guidance, a coach database, engagement strategy, and educational content.
Visible Athlete does not guarantee recruitment outcomes. We do not promise offers, scholarships, roster spots, coach responses, or any particular result. College recruiting decisions are made solely by coaches and institutions.
The Service is designed for high school athletes (grades 9 through 12, including incoming freshmen) and their parents or guardians.
Memberships are purchased by a parent or legal guardian, who is the account payer. By purchasing a membership for an athlete under 18, the parent or guardian consents to the athlete's use of the Service and to these Terms on the athlete's behalf.
Athletes must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Each membership covers one athlete; accounts and claim links may not be shared.
Memberships are billed monthly, in advance, on a recurring subscription basis. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Your price is the price shown at checkout. Founding Member pricing is locked for the life of the membership while it remains active, subject to the founding availability limits shown at the time of purchase.
If a payment fails, we retry it automatically over a period of time and you will receive email notices. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is marked unpaid and access to member features is paused until the outstanding balance is settled. You can update your payment method and manage billing at any time through the customer billing portal.
You may cancel at any time through the customer billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues through the end of the period already paid. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by law.
The Service integrates with third-party services, including X (Twitter). Connecting an X account is optional and subject to X's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, actions, or policies of third-party platforms, including changes that affect features that rely on them.
Visible Athlete is not a sports agent, and nothing in the Service constitutes representation of the athlete. Families are responsible for understanding and complying with the rules that apply to them, including NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and state athletic association rules, and any rules governing name, image, and likeness (NIL) activity. Content in the Service is educational information, not legal, financial, or compliance advice.
You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes: sharing accounts or paid content with non-members; misrepresenting an athlete's identity, academics, or athletic performance; using the Service to spam or harass coaches or anyone else; attempting to access other users' data; or interfering with the operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service and its content, including lessons, templates, strategies, and databases, are owned by Visible Athlete and protected by law. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for the enrolled athlete's own recruiting. You may not resell, republish, scrape, or redistribute the Service or its content.
Information you provide about the athlete (such as profile details and measurables) remains yours. You give us permission to use it to operate the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visible Athlete's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost opportunities, lost scholarships, or lost profits.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
